A R Rahman created history by becoming the first Bollywood musician to win a Golden Globe award. He won the Golden Globe for best original score for Slumdog Millionaire. The “Mozart of Music” has proved himself once again and he has also proved that music transcends beyond boundaries. He remained simple as always and gave a small one minute speech where he thanked the billion Indian citizens. Slumdog Millionaire also won three other awards making it the movie with the highest awards this year at the Golden Globe. Great going Rahmanji and Slumdog Millionaire and hope it would sweep the Oscars too.
